This is such a creative idea! This bride decided that instead of using a traditional guest book she would use a calendar filled with photos from their engagement session. The idea was to have each guest sign on their birthday. The final product was 11 X 14 closed and spiral bound. These are the pages in the calendar starting with the cover and then January through December ...

Love Train
This engagement session had a mix of themes, but mostly a sort of modern-vintage feel with trains. I had so much fun creating these images and loved the seeing the bride's creativity. Enjoy!

The Living Ghost Town ...
Every year, Jodi and her family dedicate one day to creating a set of family photos. In previous years, they've gone to places with gardens or parks. This year, I suggested something a little different and (to my relief) they loved it!
This is Randsburg, a mining town from the late 1800's. The old style buildings created a great backdrop for these fun family photos.

Add this to your Christmas wish list...
A few months back, Alan and I found ourselves shooting to a new beat at the AV Fair. Country music duo The Wheeler Sisters are fun and talented. Dani and Cristina were born and raised in Lancaster, California, where they first realized their talent and dream. Though they are a new group on the Nashville scene, they are off to a good start; their first EP “This is Gonna Get Ugly” was written by award-winning song writer Jim McCormick. To the excellent song-writing, the sisters bring their unique vocal harmonies and an awful lot of energy!
